Bronte 709 - a vintage knitting pattern leaflet from circa 1970s and in good used condition.
Knitting instructions to make a matinee coat, an outdoor coat, bonnet, helmet and bootees.
In two sizes to fit: 18", 20" chest.
The original yarn used to make the items was Baby Quick Knitting yarn with a tension of 5.5 sts and 7.5 rows to 1" measured over stocking stitch.
As this yarn is no longer manufactured, you will need to find an alternative yarn that knits to the right tension.
Work a tension square and change your needle size if necessary to achieve this tension.
